Do you think your tax money should be used for seat belts in buses? Well I think it should, because many things could happen in an accident. In an accident if there are no seatbelts a lot of bodily harm can come of that or maybe it was bad driving on the bus drivers part. Yes, it would cost a lot but it would be worth it. The money that you give would help keep the next generation safe.
Bad driving is a cause of many accidents. These accidents may involve your children. I have had a couple of experiences with bad bus drivers. My old bus driver used to hit curbs and almost even hit cars! So some bus drivers aren’t very safe.
In an accident if you don’t wear a seatbelt you become a projectile, which means the next thing in front of you is going to stop you. This will probably be the seat in front of you, which isn’t very soft. You can probably get really bad whiplash from this, or just be seriously injured.
One more thing about this conflict is that it will take a lot of time and money. Unless they just start putting seatbelts in new buses. But then they would still have unsafe buses on the street and would you want your kid riding that bus?
In my conclusion I think that we should have seat belts in school buses. Because there are bad drivers. You could get in an accident and get injured very badly. It would also be good to protect the “Future of America.”
